F1, Hamilton flies in pole, but Vettel is second. Well … Kimi – Il Sole 24 Ore

The Briton Lewis Hamilton, driving a Mercedes impregnable, has won the pole position in the GP Bahrain, the fourth consecutive league, stopping the clock at 1 ’32′ ’571. Behind him, however, there is the other Mercedes. The second best time, and then the other square of the first row, was snatched from Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel (1 ’32′ ’129). Only third Nico Rosberg (1 ’33′ ’129), closely followed by Kimi Raikkonen fourth time with the other Red (1′ 33 ” 227), which compared to Rosberg will still have the advantage of starting on the clean side of the track. The Ferrari remain so in pursuit of the Mercedes, but confirmed very close: with a race pace really promising for the race.

Disappointments in Q1
Weekend unfortunate for Jenson Button, who will start last with his McLaren after stopping along the track (Alonso instead has passed the trap of Q1, with 9 time). First of eliminated Pastor Maldonado with Lotus. Then the two Marussia Stevens and Mehri.

In Q2 Raikkonen ahead of Vettel
Dominated by the “usual” Hamilton, the Q2 had seen the Ferrari of Raikkonen do better than the red of Vettel. To note the 14th time Alonso – his teammate was already in the pits, eliminated in Q1 – and the good time to Perez, ripping the 10 square accessing Q1.

Hamilton more fast in the free
Lewis Hamilton had the fastest time already in the third free practice session, which precede the qualifications. The Mercedes driver was shot in 1’34 “599, ahead of the Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel who had stopped at 1’34″ 668. Just 69 thousandths slower. Behind them, their teammates, with Rosberg third and Raikkonen fourth. Bottas, Massa, Maldonado, Ricciardo, Hulkenberg and Nasr closed the top ten.

The time of the race: live only on Sky
The GP will start on Sunday, when in Italy will be 17. The race will be broadcast live on Sky Sports F1 and deferred Rai 1 starting at 22.
