The Attorney General of Switzerland has opened a criminal case against FIFA president Sepp Blatter. The world’s # 1 Football Association, which has already been questioned, is suspected of embezzlement and fraudulent management.
The investigation opened by the prosecutor against the Swiss Blatter also involves Michel Platini. He is suspected by the FIFA president, an illegal payment of two million Swiss francs in favor of the then vice-president for “work perhaps falsely made” between 1999 and 2002. Platini has been heard as a witness.
There are two, in fact, the events being investigated by the Swiss attorney. Besides the issue that also concerns Platini, the current UEFA president, Blatter and the other ‘alleged to have signed a contract on unfavorable TV rights to FIFA with the Caribbean Football Union, at the time headed by Jack Warner.
Platini “Get paid to work” – “I got paid for a job that I have done”, said the No. 1 UEFA, Michel Platini, in a statement about all ‘investigation into the FIFA President Blatter that sees investigated. “I have been asked to provide information useful for investigations: I clarified everything and the rest willing to cooperate with the authorities at any time.”
