Italy qualifies for volleyball at the Olympic Games Rio 2016. The National led by coach Blengini enters the Brazilian capital through the front door, namely winning one of the two seats up for grabs from the World Cup. The latest effort of a grueling World Cup disputed in Japan, the Blues played the best match of the tournament and get his tenth win in eleven games: beat the world champions of Poland 3-1 (26-24, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19). And so Poland, the first defeat, after being at the top from the start of the tournament, you can see just overtaken Italy. The national volleyball team can celebrate its eleventh consecutive Olympics (always in the Games since 1976) at the end of a World Cup played at a high level with a few smudges and with the knowledge of having found a group you can count on even in key Rio 2016
