Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach:
is a semi-final, so it will be a very difficult game. The only positive thing is that we will play the second leg at home. It is good but it will be a double very hard confrontation.
The Real Madrid is always favorite, it always has been and always will be. This does not bother us. We know how difficult it is to play a quarter-final, semi-final and what is even more difficult. Us as we will always do our best to go through
I do not agree that the Madrid machine comes always draw easy, and we have seen in a game [with Wolfsburg] defined easy where we lost 2- 0. To get to the final we have to play against all; Rome City and Wolfsburg were all very good teams.
Manuel Pellegrini, coach of Manchester City
is a difficult draw. I did not mind the coupling of the semi-final, I had no preferences. No special reasons why play a semi-final always gives you incredible motivation.
The more we go forward in the Champions League, the greater the enthusiasm of the fans. In this competition there are the best teams in the world.
Winning the Champions League is always important, but the Real Madrid win a trophy is almost a requirement. The Spanish are in the semifinals, and still in the running in the league.

difficult, but it is always the case at this stage. All the teams are very strong. They have players who can win a game by yourself. We are happy to be in the semifinals. Our quarter-final was really hard, but now we have to play to our top level otherwise we will be in trouble.
It will be a double very big challenge will be two fun games. Manchester City plays attacking football like ours, so it will be fun for all the fans.
Txiki Begiristain, Manchester City team manager
We know how many times the Real Madrid he won the Champions League and how many came in the semifinals, so it will be tough. We saw their comeback against Wolfsburg by 2-0 of going up to the return 3-0. Probably the worst thing is that we play the return at the Bernabeu, huge stadium with a great tradition in this competition.
We did good things in previous rounds, especially in the second round and quarter-finals where we were solid and we defended well. We know that with the players we have, we can create many chances. We are confident and we will try to make things difficult for Real Madrid over two legs. We want to reach the final and we know that we can do it.

Zinédine Zidane wants to bring to Madrid the 11th European Cup in its history and the Merengues, the sixth consecutive semi-final, will be happy to face Manchester City, his first semi-final of all time. The teams have recently encountered; was 2012/13 when Madrid won a memorable match at the Bernabeu thanks to the net in the final of top scorer this season, Cristiano Ronaldo, before the draw in Manchester. The former coach of Madrid, Manuel Pellegrini, however, would like to get to the final in Milan to say goodbye in the best way to City.

the match against Real will be for the City the first European semi-final after the one of 1971. the British will leave from disadvantaged but by winning Tuesday with Paris Saint-Germain have been shown to have the right mindset. When their offensive players get up the pace, they manage to create chances against anyone. The story of Manuel Pellegrini, as a former coach of Madrid, adds further irons in the fire. Beat his former club and bring the City in the final in his last months as manager of Citizens would be the realization of a perfect plan.
