All eyes on the Zurich Congress: here, in a few minutes, will begin voting that will lead to the election of the new FIFA president. In the running are Sepp Blatter, in office for 17 years, and the Jordanian Prince Ali. Of the 209 federations should vote no more than 203. On the first ballot need a qualified majority, two-thirds of those present, or about 135 votes. From the second round onwards, however, just the majority of valid votes.
blatter favorite – The Uefa, with Platini, hath been deployed to Ali but is not compact: France will vote Blatter, Spain perhaps, Italy did not comment officially.
