The last round of Serie B outlined the final standings and the consequent grid playoffs, with the participation of six teams: Vicenza, Bologna, Spezia, Perugia, Pescara and Avellino. Only one of these will join in Carpi and Frosinone, already promoted to Serie A.
Tuesday, May 26 races dry-Spezia Avellino and Perugia-Pescara. The winner between Liguria and Irpinia will face Bologna, Vicenza challenge instead who will emerge victorious in confonto between Umbria and Abruzzo. Semifinals and finals will be played on the distance of 180 minutes.
The playoff playout to avoid ending up in the Pro League will Entella-Modena: the two games will be played on May 30 and June 6. Already relegated Cittadella, Brescia and Varese.
