Inter-Juventus 0-0. Allegri’s team remains far from the peak – The Messenger

ends goalless Inter-Juventus, the game was able to awaken the demons of Italian football: more than a derby, more than a final, brings to mind a story of rivalry ‘atavistic, evokes the page Black Calciopoli, the second division, the league titles won and those assigned with the accounts for anyone still does not add up. San Siro is transformed into a basin, in eighty flock to the stadium, cheering and teasing with the Beagle Boys takes shape and comes alive in the banners of the North that leverages the Treble dream faded escaped Juventus just last year. There is tension, there is participation, there is passion: you can feel strong feelings for a game that has the taste of eternal revenge. They have changed the protagonists. Moratti is no longer president and perhaps Thohir – composed sitting in the stands – fails to capture nuances and meanings of this endless battle. In command of the teams two coaches young and upwardly mobile, Mancini and Allegri. The first want the league title, the other is forced to chase. Both have charm and determination, both are ambitious and successful.

In the field, the teams face with intensity, with no holds barred, with malice. Mancini rules out Guarin and fished Brozovic, Allegri leaves the bench Dybala and relies on Zaza. Inter poor and the working of risicate victories in the first five games and it turns out to be driven by large Jovetic, true leader of a team still looking for the right balance. Juventus does not engage and Pogba is little more than an ectoplasm on the pitch. Nerves on edge with four admonished in fifteen minutes (will be eight after the game) and some good ball goal constructed by the two challengers.

4 ‘is wasting Cuadrado, 9′ Zaza everything wrong and throws to the winds another important chance. Ten minutes and begin flocking to the yellow cards, the first are for Marchisio and Melo. Inter grows Jovetic and salt in a chair in the most tense moment of the first half with Khedira and Zaza who are admonished. 25 ‘Inter protesting a touch with the arm of Bonucci, a minute later Jovetic comes face to face with Buffon but Chiellini is good to close. Yet the Montenegrin scares Juventus with a header followed by a shot that hits the crossbar Brozovic. Among a skirmish and a foul, ending the first half with a providential recovery Melo’s cross Evra, a free kick by Jovetic Icardi that landslide in the area but not rigor. Ultimate thrill with Zaza always struggling to find the right timing to kick at goal.

In the second half the game changed face, Inter falls and feel the fatigue, Juve grows and wakes Pogba. The Nerazzurri are tired, Jovetic goes off in part, decreases the tension and now the Bianconeri try to take advantage of it with a right of Cuadrado passing under the legs of Handanovic but did not end up in the net. Always try with the Colombian left. Juve back into the game with a nice progression of Pogba that did not materialize. Allegri’s team tries to win with Inter losing lucidity although Jovetic 14 ‘forcing Buffon to parry his shot in two stages. Ten minutes after Juventus lost the biggest of occasions with Khedira hitting the outside pole. Coaches try to reshuffle the cards: Allegri excludes Morata who gets angry. In its place the inconclusive Mandzukic. There is also space for Dybala but the game seems nailed zero to zero Cuadrado is damned right, for him numbers tightrope walker and so much joy. Are the last fires of a lot tighter and nervous – charming nonetheless – with a few shots on goal between two teams that seem far from their targets: the tip for the title and Inter, however, it appears below the direct rivals growing of match in the match. The Nerazzurri are 17 points and are second along with Roma. Juventus was relegated to the lower floors of the league: just 9 points, demonstrating that the crisis is not over.

The title seems far away and hope is called Europe. The eighty San Siro are a little disappointed, torn between dreams of glory and a reality that appears still uphill. Mancini is satisfied. Yet his face says something else and betrays a certain annoyance: his Inter had to pass the exams for graduation but we have to wait
