The two clubs will suffer a punishment similar to that of Barcelona for irregularities in the enrollment of children
MADRID (SPAIN) – Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will be sanctioned by the FIFA for the purchase of players aged under 18 years. As already happened for Barcelona, and Colchoneros Merengues have suffered a stop to market transactions for the next two windows. FIFA had put under investigation Ateltico and Real now for a year and had asked all the necessary documentation to the Spanish Football Federation. Atletico and Real will participate in the current session, but will then stop until the 2016-2017 season. The surveys covered footballers present in competitions held between 2007 and 2014 (Atletico de Madrid) and 2005 and 2014 (Real Madrid).
THE ACTION – Atletico Madrid has officially announced that appeal the decision of FIFA. “The company disagrees with the sanction imposed by FIFA and will study all the documentation received in order to file a complaint against this decision” , informs Atletico in a statement.
APPEAL REAL – So did the Real Madrid, with a statement on its website, accompanied by several points of defending against charges of FIFA. “will appeal to all sports venues, the penalties are absolutely unacceptable” says the club chaired by Florentino Perez.
