Another success for the blue cross-country skiing Federico Pellegrino. It has established itself in trying to sprint free technique that opened the tenth edition of the Tour de Ski on track Lenzerheide. The Aosta Valley is also leader of the World Cup.
With the victory today in the sprint in Lenzerheide, Pilgrim share equals to 6 wins in the World Cup Olympic champion Pietro Piller, which is the most successful blues in Cup. The 25-year valdostano beat the extremely strong Russian Sergej Ustiugov after a final tactically shrewd but ended with a draw length irresistible. Third place went to Norwegian Finn Haagen Krogh. Pellegrino had been strong since the qualifiers with the first time, had dominated the quarter-finals and then had finished second in the semi-finals.
